To the Editor:  Pudge is a 5-year-old German short hair/sharpie mix. Pudge has been a wonderful addition to our family. He loves playing with my two sons and his favorite game is chase. He is very protective and when the boys horse around he will bark and physically try to break them up because he thinks they’re fighting. He is also the most lovable dog and when I’m home is always by my side. Pudge will always start out sleeping on his pillow but somehow in the middle of the night ends up sneaking in to one of our beds and curling up next to us.

ATTENTION PET OWNERS!!

We are looking for submissions for our 2012 Cutest Pet contests. Exotic pets and other caged critters are welcome, too! Please send your high resolution jpeg picture to info@trentontrib.com, or drop off your picture at our office Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Include your name, the pet’s name and tell us in 100 words or less why you think they are Trenton’s Cutest pet. All pets featured from January- December will be entered into our Facebook Cutest Pet Contest and the winner will get a great prize and a photo shoot for the January 2013 edition.

Happiest dog I’ve ever met. Has cutest tilt of his head when he’s trying to understand what you want. Loves walking, never barks at other dogs, even when they bark at him. Hears the word walk and goes gets his leash, we tried spelling it, he still understands. Great companion,
will always lift your spirits, flops next to you with his head on your lap, his way of comforting you. Loves the cat Sonny, though feeling isn’t always mutual. Pudge never gives up on Sonny, when Sonny lays on the patio Pudge will follow and just lays next to him.
