More than 240 guests were in attendance at the Grosse Ile Garden Club’s “Anything Goes IV” Tablescape luncheon, held Sept. 26 in Flat Rock.
The event, chaired by Pat Nielsen, Elaine Aho and Doreene Payette, serves as a major fundraiser for the Club, enabling the group to maintain several public gardens in the community. The luncheon featured 30 unique tablescapes showcasing collectible glassware and fine and casual china, each in keeping with the “Anything Goes” theme. Its success was due in large part to the creative talents of the table designers, and the generosity of the event’s sponsors and donors.
