Lace up your walking shoes, or hop on your bicycle … and head to Elizabeth Park in Trenton for a Stroll and Roll, a free drop-in walking and bicycling program on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. through Sept. 21.
The goal is to provide an opportunity for people to “meet up” with others and enjoy a stroll or roll around town or through the park. Those who show up determine the route which varies week to week, depending on the desire of the group(s).
Just show up and sign in; there is no registration required. Look for the sign-in area in Elizabeth Park after the entrance into the park on the right hand side of the road.
Stroll and Roll is part of Healthy Trenton, a partnership among Beaumont Health, the city of Trenton, and Trenton Public Schools, which encourages residents to lead healthier lives and provides resources to help.
